Non-Shippy Fanfics

I've noticed that there's a shortage of Non-Shippy Fanfics around and that's a shame because usually I prefer to read those. Is there a shortage because they're harder to write or that there's less demand for them?

Do you prefer the 'shippy fanfics or the non-shippy ones?

I've read some of these HM fanfics and some of them are so much like the millions of others that are out there. It's Hawkeye marries Margaret, they have a son called Ben and they live happily ever after. The 'shippy stories wouldn't seem so bad if something different actually happens in them.

I don't know much about fanfics. What are shippy, non-shippy, and HM?

Shippy: Fanfictions with a relationships theme.
Non-Shippy: Fanfictions that do not focus on relationships.
HM: A Hawkeye and Margaret pairing.
CM: A Charles and Margaret pairing.

'Dr Winchester's bookshelf', which can be found via 'fanfiction.net' , is as good a place as any to start.

One of the best Charles authors is our very own Kay, I always find her stories a pleasure to read. You'll find all of her M*A*S*H stories in the Fanfiction community.
