I was rewatching this today and carefully watched Potter's reaction to the 'joke' in OR. At the end of "Goodbye Farewell and Amen", Potter refers to it and says something along the lines of "I had to pretend to be cross but I was laughing behind my mask." Well, no he wasn't. He took his mask off and he was quite clearly furious. Love the episode though - lots of Charles and his nice legs, and he gets the better of BJ in the end too. (By the way, didn't we have a thread on this episode already? Couldn't find it anywhere)

We did have but I removed older topics earlier today. Please feel free to start a new thread on the deleted topics if necessary.
Sorry for the inconvenience but it will make it easier for the proboards update if there is less posts.
Hmmm. Charles' nice legs

Heeheee, I'm bad... I remembered he had some nice legs (prolly all that skateboarding David did around the set), so I wrote such in my story. Had it reconfirmed today. I didn't realize, till later in that ep (it was on today, in fact I think it's on right now on the evening repeat) that he was nekkid under his scrubs Altho Hawkeye isn't my favorite character, obviously, the ending of this today made me laugh, when BJ runs out to get the 8x10's on the bulletin board and it freezes with Hawk and CEW laughing together. That was cool.

Yeah, later in the ep, when Hawkeye is seemingly persisting in humiliating Charles, he finally sits down with Charles and tells him BJ is the one actually doing it. "Who's the one to convince you to go bareback into surgery today?" Now, I'm wondering, why would BJ do that, and why would Charles agree? Wearing scrubs sans underwear? Rather odd, IMO, but oh well. That's why the OR table is conveniently placed where it is, so you can't see Charles, lol... since later, you do see him in his boxer shorts and those nice legs, rowr... i love strong thighs on a man

As for his not wearing anything under his scrubs, that's easy - he must have been in the shower when the PA announced there were wounded coming in. We've seen it happen before to others (just a shame we didn't actually get to see it happen to Charles!)

I know he says "bareback" and I'm pretty sure I got the quote right, I just saw it yesterday, and like I said, it surprised me cuz I didn't realize he was in such a state.

Just checked what Hawkeye said (and the rest of the episode too ) and it was "It was BJ's idea that you go bareback in OR too!" I like Charles' line just before that, when Hawkeye takes his own trousers down as a show of good faith "Nudist magazines finally taken their toll, eh?"

I've watched half of this episode and the look of shock on peoples face in the scene where hawkeye drops Charles' trousers suggests that he wasn't wearing any underwear. He has such nice legs and we get to see so much of them in this episode. Yay

Yeah, having watching this one again (and again ), I think the implication is that BJ saw that Charles had had to go to OR from the showers, and suggested the "joke" to Hawkeye at that time. That's why Hawkeye has to tell Charles that the whole thing was BJ's idea.

I think that was awfully mean of BJ to do that to poor Charles although I'm not complaining as Charles does have very nice legs.
