We're getting this episode at 7.30pm today, courtesy of the Paramount reruns. I'll be there, tissues to hand (despite the fact I have most of the eps on video).

David's an awesome actor any way, but he really shines in this episode. The way his demeanour suddenly changes, you can FEEL it, is a testament to how good he is.
Oh my, I just checked... I have it at 5:30PM Pacific time, far out!!

Let us know whether you get their farewell scene. I read a post somewhere that said it was sometimes cut in the States. How could they DO that!

I guess I'm waiting until the 12:30AM showing. I went "back to bed" at 2:30 this afternoon (I thought it was going to be just a nap, but it was 3.5 hours), so I slept right thru the afternoon showing.
I'll say one thing about Hallmark network: They sure show a LOT of MASH, I mean, four hours all told? That's one-sixth of a day, all MASH (granted, the same four eps both times, but still...)
I'm going to watch "Say No More" both times, counting down to the 24th!

I don't know about other times, but at least tonight they showed the final scene between Martine and Charles. That is, if you're talking about him lying on his bunk with the red pillow under his head, and she kisses him goodbye. There wasn't another, was there? Oh man, I'm so glad Hallmark didn't cut THIS kissing scene! Altho I think the one with Donna in Mr and Mrs Who is the very first time we see Charles kiss, isn't it? I think that's why I (heh) enjoyed that scene so much. I still haven't forgiven Hallmark for cutting that scene, last time it was on. Any way, they didn't cut this one, and man I wish I could put my big feet into her little bitty shoes in that scene, whew!! Dayum! (Fanning myself here...) OMG, I had to laugh so hard.. when he was talking about Tom & Jerry, motioning with his fingers and doing the sound effect, it brought to mind Colonel Kay's review of my chapter 8, with the sound effects and scuttling off into the distance to FF.net. I know I'm going on about that, but it was just so freakin' funny TTYL. (OH, another post-script... I was wondering what you Brits thought when they said "fanny" on this ep, LOL!! You do know that to us yanks, that just means "bottom", right?)

Mmm, yes, that was the scene I meant - the one where he's lying on his bunk. Gets me every time when he starts crying and says "What can I do, I can't change who I am." The Tom and Jerry bit is great though. And I do love the way she tells Hawkeye to shove off, but asks Charles to sit at the table. The look on Margaret's face is kind of "huh?" We had a whole discussion around the use of the 'fanny' word on the 'Bottoms up' thread. Paramount sometimes screen a version of that episode which cuts (silences) the word 'fanny' when Charles says it in the OC. Utterly pointless, because you know exactly what he's saying!

My sister's answer for that is unless he changes who he is, he'll end up having a very lonely life. I love him the way he is. It really got to me when he started crying. I cried too
