I liked this episode particularly when Charles shared his food with Margaret. I thought that was nice of him, even if they did get ill. The thought was there after all.
I wonder, was it real caviare and pheasant that they got to eat?

I think budget constraints usually mean that blackcurrant jam gets substituted for caviar in just about any film/tv scene! (tastes better too) Don't see how they could fake the pheasant with anything else though, given the way they were eating it - hope it wasn't "off" though! ;D

They wouldn't do that to their actors. I'd have thought that playing a character like Charles would have it's perks. Like eating fancy food.

I was watching this again a couple of days ago and there's some good Charles moments in it - the food-sharing scene with Margaret, of course; but also there's the scene where he enters the swamp just as Klinger leaves in tears, and Charles says to BJ and Hawkeye: "menopause?" ;D Then there's the scene right at the end where the others share the hotdogs with him. This must be one of the first times we see Charles being treated (and allowing himself to be treated) as "one of the gang", I think?

Charles is such a sweetie to offer to share his food with Margaret, okay they both got ill but it was the thought that counts. I liked the scene at the end too. It is one of those scenes that show one of the many sides of Charles and how diffrent he is to Frank.

This was a great episode. He was a sweety to share with Margaret. I remember when I first saw this epi, I thought the two of them were definitely going to end up together.

I was really worried when Charles collapsed on the floor in OR. I thought there was somehing really dreadful wrong with him.

I felt sorry for Charles when he was ill.
