Set up this thread in response to majordisaster's question in the 'Nurse Doctor' thread - "Speaking of Charles swearing -- in 'An Eye For A Tooth' when Charles and Margaret are outside the showers, does Charles say 'oh, sh*t' right after he turns around to Margaret?? "
I took a look at this scene, and I don't think he says that here. Anyone else seen it? Opinions?

I watched this scene specially. He says 'Shhh' just after she calls his name.

I seem to recall this, and he was skating on that thin edge censors look for. I think it came out like Shhhhh... too, but being such a popular American slang term, I'm sure everyone watching knew what he meant and he was pulling that "t" just in time!

I may be being stupid here but why would he be saying sh*t?
It sounded more like he was asking her to lower her voice.
Just my opinion of course.

Reason being that he didn't want Hawkeye and BJ to know that he had anything to do with the joke Margaret was about to play on them. So "Shhh" would make sense, no?

Yeah, I agree 'shhhh' would make more sense in the context of that scene, but for some reason I always thought it came out sounding more like a swear word. Maybe it was just the way he said it . EDITED TO SAY: My, my, my, Kay!!! I sure do love your avatar .
