When Charles was talking about him having dinner with Audrey Hepburn, the swamprats were laughing at him.
Hawkeye said something that I thought was quite mean.
Hawkeye: "I've seen her, and not only couldn't you date her, she wouldn't let you into a theatre where one of her movies was playing"
Hawkeye: "Quasimodo would have a better chance of dating Audrey Hepburn than you"
The way the swamprats were in that episode really annoyed me.

You noticed that too I remember watching that ep and thought the same thing. But Charles sure gets back at Hawkeye by showing him the picture of the two of them having dinner. Bravo

On the contrary, I think this episode was brilliant, showing the camaraderie between the three, BJ and Hawkeye against Charles and their one-upmanship.
I LOVE that scene, about Audrey Hepburne! Esp. when BJ catches a glimpse of the photograph Charles is pulling out, smirking because he knows he's telling the truth and knows how his bunkmates are going to react.
And don't forget, throughout the series once Charles joins the unit, he and Hawkeye trade barbs equally well. Charles gives as good as he gets, one reason I like him so much.

I love this episode....whatever Hawkeye throws at Charles (verbally, I mean), our man just comes back at him every time with a wickedly good answer! Great to watch! The photo of him with Audrey Hepburn is just a classic moment!

It was great that he showed them the photo. I was laughing and thinking 'Haha. He told you so'
