Was it me or did that English guy's voice change in this episode?
I didn't like the way he was treating Charles. I thought Charles was being really friendly and welcoming to this guy and then he just went and made Charles look loke a fool.
Poor Charles.

Never noticed CG, I'll pay more attention next time. No, I didn't like the way Charles was treated

I loathe this episode, and usually try to regard it as being somebody's bad dream - along with the episode immediately before (or is it after?) it, where he keeps everyone awake with his snoring. In both these episodes, Charles' character seems to have reverted to his Season 6 persona - he's forgotten everything he's learned at the 4077th (that conversation with Mulcahy where he says "that would make me just the same as everyone else" is completely OOC for Charles by this stage in the series). Margaret too kind of reverts to her early-seasons persona in the 'UN' ep., which does nobody any favours. Ick. I usually skip both of these episodes when they're aired, I haven't recorded them, and I've no intention of watching them when the DVDs finally arrive. Ew.

I like the snoring episode but I don't like this one very much. Hawkeye didn't seem to like it that no one was paying him any attention and the English doctor was not very nice to Charles, considering the fact that Charles had made a real effort to be welcoming and friendly.
