I don't like scruffy Charles and I really don't like the stubble on his face in this episode but I wasn't sure if it was make up. In some scenes I thought it looked like make up.
This is a good episode otherwise.

This is easily my 'most watched' episode of MASH - lots and lots of lovely Charles to slaver over, and I ADORE that scruffy, unshaven "just-got-out-of-bed" look. Yummmmeeeeee  And a kiss for him too (Grrrrr. Jealous? Moi?)  |

Just watched this episode last night.....have to say that I liked the "scruffy" look too! This is a really great episode......I love the bit at the end where they say their vows to get "un-married"!

Without that scene, what's the point?? If I can afford it, I'm at least going to buy the MASH DVDs starting with Season 6 and CEW (of course.) In fact, I can't think of why I'd want the pre-CEW ones. |

I think this is one of my top three Charles favorites (I even wrote a fanfic based on it, with Donna of course). My main gripe, as the regulars here know, is that the Hallmark channel CUTS the entire kissing scene with Donna! I refuse to watch it on there now; guess I'll have to wait till I get the DVD of it, some day.
