This was an episode that I feel was important in the development of Charles' character.
This was one of the earlier times when viewers got to see the sweet, caring side of Charles and he proved himself to be more human than Frank ever was.
It brought tears to my eyes and was brilliantly acted out by David.

That the one with the pianist? That's an awesome one, yeah. Charles so eloquently expresses how I feel about music too, that I love it so much, but I've just not got it in me to BE a musician, like he realizes about himself.

It's also one of the few occasions when we see Charles admit that Hawkeye and BJ do the 'touchy feely' bedside manner better than he does. (Not that he'd tell them that, of course, it's Father Mulcahy he talks to).

^^ Who can you possibly mean, Louise?!! I think Charles is so lovely in this episode - I would choose him to be my doctor any day over all the others!
