I couldn't help but notice...I looks like they're flirting!

Yes, they did that a lot (hence the C/M fanfics). They almost always sit together in the mess tent, and there's loads of other examples of them flirting (see the thread on 'Margaret' under 'Swampmates' for more)

I guess I should have warned everyone about my sense of humor! That remark of mine was a jab at all the Hawkeye/Margaret "shippers". I mean, come on now! How can anyone say there was ANY chemistry between the two of them. The screencaps above are proof that it was Charles and Margaret that should have wound up together. (IMHO).

Yep. "Comrades in Arms" notwithstanding, i mean, it was a fluke for their "relationship," seeing as there was NOTHING leading up to it and NOTHING after it (the main thing that irks me, esp seeing as through most of the series, if not all of it, up to that point they hated each others' guts), there're a lot more 'shippy moments between C&M. I did a little article with examples that's floating around somewhere. I think Charlie's Girl might have it up on the site somewhere now, not sure.

I love in this episode when Margaret says, "This war was the best thing that ever happened to him [Donald]."
And Charles gives this big, flirty smile and replies, "Outside of you, to be sure."
Haha. And they say H/M had chemistry. Pssh.
