Another one of my most hated episodes, it just makes we want to scream 'SHUT UP'
It's terribly over-acted and what's the chances it was written by Alan Alda too.

Actually this one was written by Dan Wilcox and Thud Mumford, and directed by Nell Cox. I try not to watch it at all - those OTT slices of thick ham from Alan Alda are just appalling, and the blame for that has to lie with him and the Director. The contrast between his histrionics, and David's quiet underplaying in 'The Life you Save' a few episodes later, is startling, and very telling. |

This has to be one of the least popular episodes of MASH and you can see why when Hawkeye starts sneezing. What a dreadful racket.

I really don't bother with this episode as there's nothing of interest, IMO.
Mind you I had forgotten about the scene where Charles is shaving.
