I needed a Charles fix this evening and chose this one, as I haven't watched it for a while.
It's not that long ago that I saw the episode for the first time, and I was as fooled as Rizzo when Charles threw himself onto that grenade. I know, I know, call me dozy, but for a moment there I really thought he was being noble and brave
Was anyone else taken in, the first time they saw it?

I was fooled by it, but of course it's not until the end of the scene that you know what Charles is up to.


I haven't watched M*A*S*H for ages.

I thought Charles was brillant for doing that, perfect revenge on Rizzo,
especially the line, you'd do it for me.
