These three were cited as reasons why he's our favorite, but didn't really fit in the other two categories. Which one of these three do you think is most vital to the overall character of Charles?

David's such a class actor (and cute as hell!), no-one else could have begun to make the character as complex and well-shaded. Added to which Charles owed his interest in classical music to David!

Tough choice but I think David made Charles who he is.
And like Kay said Charles' liking for classical music was due to David's interest.

I didn't vote in this one because I didn't know what to say.

I voted for "his character was very believable", but then I needed to vote again really because he was "very believable" because of David's brilliant portrayal of him! Catch 22, I guess! LOL!!

I voted because he was portrayed by David Ogden Stiers. Had Charles been portrayed by any other actor, it would have been a travesty!

His character was believable. I must admit that David played an important part in who Charles was and who he became so that would have to be my second choice.
