Has anyone purchased the new M*A*S*H* box set with bonus material? I'm dying to get my hands on the interviews, bloopers, and reunion footage!

I did think about it as I wanted the bonus footage but when I saw the price I changed my mind. It'll come down in price eventually. I haven't even bought Season 11 yet as I'm still really annoyed with Fox for doing this to the loyal fans. There is some good news regarding this though: www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=24932 |

Though it does make you wonder how bone-headed Fox had to be that they didn't foresee the outcry that would arise from their initial decision to only release the Extras on the complete set.! |

Speaking of extras and such: Has anyone ever seen pictures, videos etc. of David and Larry Linville traveling to Korea to visit US troops in the DMZ? I asked about this on the "Mashtalk" board and I got 2 replies that there is nothing about it in the boxed set.

I know very little about David and Larry's visit to Korea.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the extras will be available separately.

I asked about this on the "Mashtalk" board and I got 2 replies that there is nothing about it in the boxed set. You'd think there's be something, somewhere, about this, but I would guess Fox wouldn't own the copyright to any news footage there might have been, so it can't go on the Extras. (I think that's also the reason why 'Making MASH' isn't on the Extras - it wasn't made by Fox) In the letter from David that accompanied the Jacket I won on EBay, he said that the only other member of the MASH team (besides David and Larry Linville) who went to Korea was Larry Gelbart. |
