Um, if you don't have a website of your own to post fanfics, is there a way to get it posted somewhere?

ooh, does this mean you write fanfics? Hope so, it would be great to welcome another writer to the fold. If your fanfics are about Charles, you could email them to Charlie's Girl and she'll be happy to put them in the Library on the Winchester Web Site. Or you can sign up with fanfiction.net (the MASH pages are at www.fanfiction.net/l/460/0/0/1/1/0/0/0/1/ ) and post them yourself. Happy scribbling!

Hey, this is my section, bugger off! (grin!) I'd also add that there's another site, for the more mature stories, that you can post to at adultfan.nexcess.net/ . Those contain R and NC17 stories (or as fanfiction.net and I use, M and MA.) Welcome to the fan fiction section (I'm the moderator, NOT KAY -- go to your own area, Kay ) and like she said, it's great to have another writer of Charles in the fold! (Kay knows I'm j/k y'all... I adore my fellow trA*S*H*er)

Hey that's great! Thanks a bunch. Yeah, I enjoy writing and Charles is such a complicated character that you just gotta love him.

Another place you can post stories is via livejournal or greatestjournal (just add a .com to those names and it'll come up.) I've posted shorter stories there. There's an HTML function called an "lj cut" where you can click on it, and it expands the chapter or story, so a big long chapter isn't taking up your entire journal. Some people choose to not use fanfiction.net for various and sundry reasons (eg, my antivirus software gave me a virus warning once; turns out something was being inserted onto my drive from ff.net, when I didn't have my Google toolbar quelling popups.) Any way, just another solution. Or, if you're good at website managing, you can post stories like Charlie's Girl does on the CEW website she maintains. In the end, though, I use the two sites I mentioned before: FF.net and AFF.net. I haven't had any problems, 'cept that one time with the virus and my AVG software keeps it out (you can get that, for free, at www.grisoft.com/ -- this antivirus s/w was recommended by my ISP, so it's good. Price is right too.)
