LOLOL if the MASH fanfic readers knew what I WANT to put for BJ's "after-MASH" story, they'd gather en masse in Seattle and burn me at the stake. Maybe I'll be brave and actually publish it.

Watching 'Sons and Bowlers' again reminded me that there could be times when BJ and Charles co-operated really well together. In the scene where they're "diagnosing" the marine with the 'toilet trouble', they almost finish each other's sentences, and I'm sure there were other instances too where this happened. At the end of the episode in the OC, they appeared to be having a normal, civilised conversation over a drink (not something that would ever have happened while Frank was there!). Which makes BJ's sheer nastiness in 'Friends and Enemies' all the worse, I think.

I have trouble watching BJ on screen now. It's hard for me to look at him objectively, and separate him from Mike Farrell the actor.
I have a BIG problem with him defending Tookie Williams. The man was an LA gang member and a murderer.
Sorry if this offends anyone. I just had to get that off my chest.

I don't MIND BJ, and I loved Mike Farrell in "The Questor Tapes," but I like Trapper much much better. BJ does get annoying, though, at times.
