Have you noticed anything in M*A*S*H that didn't belong in the 50's? I've heard one boo-boo was them using a US flag with 50 stars (there were only 48 states during the Korean conflict). |

Ya mean like the hair was too long, below the ears ?? I remember seeing actresses in bell bottom jeans on Happy Days  Only sailors wore bell bttoms in the 1950s. |

This is something I've always wondered. It was politically correct to smoke cigarettes during the 50s, everyone smoked. In at least one eppy, Hawkeye reamed a guy about putting out a cig, but cigars were ok. I don't want this to turn into a Hawkeye bashing post, but he personally was against smoking so it wasn't in the show. I'm just a stickler for detail and I'll shut up now |

In 'Major Topper' Charles boasts that he dated Audrey Hepburn, and produces the photo to prove it.
But Audrey Hepburn appeared in only half-a-dozen minor films, in more or less bit-part roles, until she made 'Roman Holiday' in 1953. So it's not likely that BJ or Hawkeye would actually have heard of her!
